[Libs-Or] Partnership opportunity for upcoming tax season

While still in development, this project hopes to provide some staffing and promotional support for libraries willing to host tax e-filing events in 2025. Note that they are specifically looking for library partners outside of the Willamette Valley region.

Hi there!

I hope this email finds you well! My name is Chelse Leavitt, and I'm reaching out on behalf of the Oregon Department of Revenue. We're excited to announce that we would like to partner with Oregon libraries between February and April 2025 to help community members file their federal and Oregon personal taxes for free using our new IRS Direct File and Direct File Oregon options.

We believe libraries are an invaluable asset for this initiative and would be excited to collaborate! We recognize that many individuals already turn to you for help with their tax returns, and we want to offer an additional resource to support your community. We can supply flyers and assist in organizing virtual or in-person events to promote this new service. Our aim is to partner with at least seven libraries located outside the Willamette Valley.
