Beaverton City Library and Washington County Disability, Aging, and Veterans Services are hosting a free online presentation:

Intro to Programs to Reduce Loneliness
Wednesday, Oct. 30, 10-11am, Virtual
How do we help build connection, community, and a sense of belonging during epidemic levels of disconnection, distrust, and loneliness? Join us online to learn about various programs designed to help combat loneliness and connect with others. This session will cover three evidence-supported programs that anyone can do: Age Cafe, Speed Friending, and Circle of Friends. Participating organizations in Oregon interested in holding their own community connection program can request a FREE deck of Age Cafe Conversation Cards to help you get started!
