[Libs-Or] IMLS funds: partial payment received!

Today, the State Library of Oregon received the LSTA 2024 grant drawdown request of $411,000. The request was initially made 3/31, and these funds showed up in our bank account with no notice in the federal system that IMLS uses or email communication. These funds include payroll for the 12 affected positions at the State Library for the remainder of the fiscal year.

This reduces the total amount left to be distributed to the State Library for the LSTA 2024 grants to states award to $569,428.


  *   The State Library has been gathering invoices from LSTA 2024 sub-grantees-so if you're one of those locations, please send your invoices ASAP.


  *   And if you're one of the applicants for an LSTA 2025 sub-grant, thank you for your patience with this process. The LSTA Advisory Council met last Monday, and we are working on final drafts of the LSTA budget for next year. No notices will be sent out until the State Library receives an official Award Letter from IMLS for these funds. And I'll share out that auspicious occasion when it happens.
