[Libs-Or] August update from State Library

Hi all,

Thanks to all who were able to join the Town Hall yesterday! I'll share the recording in early September and (with any luck) the slide deck is attached here. The focus this month was on the state budget development process. Congress is in recess so there are no updates on federal budget developments.

I had the great privilege of speaking with Dave Miller at OPB's Think Out Loud last week<https://www.opb.org/article/2025/08/15/think-out-loud-oregon-state-libraries-federal-funding/> to talk about the impact of federal funding cuts at the State Library of Oregon.
