I will add my thanks to all of you who keep tallies and gather this data each year. It is truly helpful to have these numbers to help tell the story of the impact of libraries, both at the state and federal level.

Which feeds data into:

Hello Oregon library folks,

The 2024 Oregon Public Library Statistical Report dataset is now available on our website as an Excel file. These stats cover the reporting period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024:

Thanks to each and every one of you for who contribute to the collection, reporting, and use of this library data each year. Your efforts are the essential foundation for the massive amount of data available on the work of public libraries throughout the United States, the District of Columbia, and outlying territories.

Small caveat: I am still working on updating our Oregon Public Library Statistics dataset<https://data.oregon.gov/dataset/Oregon-Public-Library-Statistics/8zw7-zgjw/about_data> on the State of Oregon's Open Data Portal, but I should have that work completed by the end of next week. This dataset drives our other data products, including the Oregon Public Library Snapshot<https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/statelibraryoforegon/viz/OregonPublicLibrarySnapshot/2022Snapshot> and the Oregon Public Library Trends<https://app.powerbigov.us/view?r=eyJrIjoiMjdiMDVlNjEtYWQwZC00ZWExLWEyMDYtOWUzMGY2YjlhMDdhIiwidCI6ImFhM2Y2OTMyLWZhN2MtNDdiNC1hMGNlLWE1OThjYWQxNjFjZiJ9> tools.
