Hello all!
Passing along what sounds like an incredible learning and community-building opportunity. Details for this summit, and a link to more information and registration, can be found below.
If cost is a barrier, please remember that there is still (a little) time to apply for OLA's EDI & Antiracism Committee's Professional Development scholarships<https://www.olaweb.org/ola-edi-antiracism-scholarships>-to include requests for covering team/group registrations for professional development.

The Strategy & Solidarity 2025 Global Summit <http://myrootabl.com/r/Oh0HwH2s?rootabl=jamilat27> is a unique global convening of grassroots activists, organizers, consultants, practitioners, and leaders in diverse fields united by our commitment to continue the fight for racial and social justice. We are coming together with our colleagues from around the world to shares skills, strategies and tools for collective liberation, while building community and finding joy in broad-based global solidarity.
The theme is DEI WAS NEVER ENOUGH. Sessions include:
* Panels and workshops devoted to holding the line for racial and social justice.
* Mindfulness, meditation & healing practices to help us heal our wounds and feed our souls.
* Creative dreaming exercises to help us move beyond resistance towards what we actually want to build.
We'll be gathering live online from June 23 - 29th to build skills, strategies and solidarity to hold the line for racial and social justice. Together we'll dream of thriving futures and find joy in solidarity.
It's best for anyone who has been actively working for racial and social justice as part of their day job, or in their community as an activist, organizer or volunteer, and needs more inspiration, community and strategies to keep up the fight.
It is not a good fit for folks who are hesitant or resistant to racial justice or generally anti-Black, or hostile towards any vulnerable group, including trans and LBGTQIA+ folks, immigrants and disabled folks. This is absolutely NOT a space for trying to "fix" problematic friends or relatives.
