Huge congratulations to the libraries listed below for receiving a Round 3 Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities<https://www.ala.org/tools/librariestransform/libraries-transforming-communities/access/libraries> grant from the American Library Association! The grants help recipient libraries make their services and facilities more accessible with $10-20K grants. For instance, some libraries have used the grants to install or improve accessible door openers.

The next round of these grants opens in Fall 2025. All types of libraries that serve small and rural areas are eligible. That includes academic, public, school, special (e.g. county law), and tribal libraries.
