[Libs-Or] Library measures during May 2025 election

Hi folks,

The State Library tracks results on local ballot measures that affect libraries in Oregon. We currently are aware of the following measures for the May 20, 2025, election:


  *   Clackamas County - Gladstone
Charter approval to sell or lease old library property

  *   Jefferson County - Jefferson County Library District
General obligation bonds for public library facilities

  *   Linn County - Sweet Home
Sweet Home Library services five-year operating levy renewal

  *   Marion County - Stayton
Five year local option tax for library support

  *   Marion County - Salem
Five-year operating levy for parks, recreation, libraries, and senior services

  *   Tillamook County - Tillamook County School District No. 9
Tillamook school bonds to access match for safety/facility improvements (includes "library enhancements")

If you are aware of any other library-related measures in the spring election, please let me know! The measure filings often don't include specifics, especially in facilities bonds for schools and community colleges, so we sometimes miss relevant measures.

Please note that we only track measures, not library special district board member elections.
