[Libs-Or] OLA Conference: Call for Volunteers

The 2025 Oregon Library Association annual conference in Eugene is coming up soon! And the conference committee has a question for those of you attending in-person  …

We are wondering if you can spare a few minutes or maybe a few hours to help out during the event? Our all-volunteer conference committee relies on people like YOU to help with boots-on-the-ground tasks during the conference.

We’re looking help with:

Registration Desk: Work with our Onsite Registration Team to check in conference attendees, troubleshoot badge and meal ticket issues, answer questions, and generally help people get settled into conference mode. See this document<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-_XX4QoqhpHKQ-SSHFw21Os4b_8wezUJSNn0Zv7TBkc/edit?usp=sharing> for shifts to be filled.
  *
Lightning Talks: Help facilitate the flow of speakers during the back-to-back short sessions in the Exhibit Hall (Wed. afternoon, Thurs. morning, and Thurs. afternoon).

Meals: At the start of lunches on Thursday and Friday, check badges as people enter the buffet line.
  *
Clean Up: Help pack everything up on Friday afternoon.

PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers must be registered to attend the conference. We cannot, unfortunately, exchange volunteer work for free registration.
