Dear Colleagues,

Passing along a request of ACRL OR to share this call for participants to complete this 5- minute survey:

Hello Oregon Academic Library Friends!
I'm reaching out to ask if you would share the following study with your membership (and your colleagues), we would greatly appreciate it!
---------
The University of North Texas Libraries is seeking participants who are 18 years old or older and work in a U.S. academic library to participate in a research study called “Rankism in U.S. Academic Libraries.”
For the purposes of this study, rankism is the assertion of superiority based on a particular hierarchy that typically takes the form of putting others down either explicitly or in more subtle ways. This issue is common in higher education, yet literature on the topic is written by individuals with positional power. This study aims to provide those without positional power with the opportunity to share their observations and experiences as well as reveal ways we can improve feelings of workplace belonging in academic libraries.
Study procedure includes voluntary participation in an online survey that should take about 5 minutes of your time. You will not receive compensation for participation.
If you have questions, please contact the PI, Julie Leuzinger (julie.leuzinger at unt.edu).
