Below are some upcoming virtual training opportunities on Gale databases available to Oregon libraries through the Statewide Database Licensing Program<https://slo.oregon.gov/SDLP_FAQ/FAQ>. If you can’t attend the live sessions, register anyway and be alerted when the recording is available. Supporting Accessibility with Gale Resources from the State Library of Oregon

Oregon’s Gale training specialist Tammi Burke will explore built-in tools such as on demand translation, text to speech, customizable display settings, and text enhancement features that improve readability and comprehension across Gale resources. Attendees will see how these tools support accessibility with primary source content in the Gale In Context suite and explore true Spanish language content in Gale OneFile: Informe Académico, along with reference, video, and periodical content in Gale Health and Wellness.
