The City of North Plains is now taking applications to fill a full time Library Director position this fall. As a member of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services, the library serves approximately 5,000 residents and is open 50 hours per week with a staff of 4.5 FTE. The library recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary in the charming building located in the center of town. Funding is stable, and there is strong support for the library from the city, its residents, the Library Board, and the Friends of the Library. Planning for additional library space will be a top priority in the next five years.
