<p class="MsoNormal">The IMLS has just announced a special initiative (grant opportunity!) for small and rural libraries and archives, under their National Leadership Grants for Libraries Program. The initiative is called
<b>Accelerating Promising Practices for Small Libraries</b>, and seeks for fund projects focused on
<b>transforming school library practice, community memory, </b>and/or<b> digital inclusion</b>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Grant amounts can be between $10,000 and $50,000. Eligibility for these grants is pretty broad: public libraries, districts, or consortiums; public school libraries; college and university libraries; special libraries; and library associations.<o:p></o:p></p>
