[MandReporting] DMV Update

Dear Members:
A new website explaining DMV's medical reporting system has been developed.
Parts of it are still under construction, but I hope you find the
information useful in understanding and complying with the reporting rules
that go into effect June 1 in Coos, Curry, Douglas, Lane, Jackson and
Josephine counties.

PLEASE NOTE: Based on public comment, Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter
735, Divisions 074 and 076 were modified.  Vision impairments were changed
to reflect DMV's vision standards for acuity and field of vision only.  A
finalized version of the Rules will be linked to this website after approval
by the Oregon Transportation Commission on May 14, 2003.  Until that time,
the Rules referenced in this website are the earlier version that went out
for public comment.
