Declares emergency, effective on passage. Why you should care about this proposed legislation: During the last year or two, a handful of health licensing boards participated in a pilot program to collect this data. The boards participating in the pilot were required to pay money to the Oregon Health Authority for analysis of the data, requiring each licensee to pay $5 each in addition to other license and license renewal costs. This bill would add LPCs and LMFTs to the data collection requirements.
