Implementing Mindfulness in Therapy: Part 1 and 2
This two day modular workshop (register for one or both days) is designed to provide therapists and health care providers with an introduction to mindfulness, guidelines for interpersonal mindfulness, as well as knowledge and tools for integrating the mindfulness approach into therapeutic work with clients.
Dates: Saturday-Sunday, November 2-3, 2013
Time: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Law and Ethics Symposium for Mental Health Professionals
This symposium is specifically designed for the LPC standard and meets Oregon and Washington state LPC and LMFT licensure requirements for ethics training.
Featured speakers will include Becky Eklund, Executive Director of the OBLPCT, and Paul A. Cooney, J.D., a healthcare attorney who has been in practice for more than 17 years, specializing in healthcare litigation.

Clinical Supervision
This course gives clinicians the information and skills necessary to develop competence in counseling supervision. It also meets the 30-hour requirement for the supervisors of candidates seeking licensure from the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT).
Dates: Thursday-Friday, November 7-8 and 14-15, 2013

Mindfulness in Movement: Connecting to the Authentic Self, Connecting to Others
This experiential enrichment workshop is designed to cultivate awareness of the body and movement expression in a group setting. Participants will explore the relationship between self-expression and group demands and find creative solutions to navigate between the two.

The Power of Play and the Expressive Arts: Increasing Attachment in Families
This two-day experiential workshop will provide participants with expressive arts and play therapy interventions for therapeutic work with children and their families, as well as an understanding of the research-base that supports these interventions.
This workshop is appropriate for both beginning and seasoned clinicians, including play therapists, counselors and child-based clinicians seeking to integrate play therapy interventions, graduate students in child and adolescent mental health programs, marriage and family therapists, and social workers who specialize with children and families.
