[OBPEeNews] Forensic Evaluator Certification

[OBPE updates]

Last session, the Legislature passed HB 3100 which requires all
licensed psychiatrists and psychologists who perform forensic
evaluations for purposes of competency (ORS 161.370) and or criminal
responsibility (ORS 161.295) to be certified by the Oregon Health
Authority (OHA).  Interested practitioners must apply for a certificate
by December 31, 2011 if you wish to be approved to perform these
evaluations on or after January 1, 2012.  For additional information, or
