Licensees- Have you ever considered supervising residents?
Applicants- Have you struggled finding a good match for a residency
supervisor?
The Board has developed some helpful new tools to facilitate residency
supervision:
1) The Orientation to Residency Supervision- an online course for
resident supervisors. This is a self-paced training with a short quiz
at the end. The goal is to prepare you to be a competent supervisor,
and it's also good for three CE credits.
2) The Supervisor Registry- a list of Oregon licensed psychologists who
are available to provide supervision services to residents. This will
help applicants for licensure to find supervisors with competency in the
specialty areas in which the resident plans to practice. Licensees who
which to be placed on the registry will need to complete and submit the
short application for placement on the registry.
