RULEMAKING NOTICE

Please find attached the following Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Hearing and Statement of Need and Fiscal Impact.
Rule Caption: Code of professional conduct for licensees, residents and applicants.
Rule Summary: The proposed amendment adopts the most recent version of the American Psychological Association's "Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct," effective January 1, 2010 with amendment as of January 1, 2017, as the code of professional conduct applicable to all licensees, residents and applicants of the Board.
The agency requests public comment on whether the options should be considered for achieving the rule's substantive goals while reducing negative economic impact of the rule on business.  Please email your comments to laree.felton at state.or.us<mailto:laree.felton at state.or.us> or mail them to the Board's office at 3218 Pringle Road SE, Ste. 130, Salem, OR 97302.  All comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 2, 2017.
