[ODE-IT] Updated List of Independent Program Institution IDs Posted

UPDATED LIST OF INDEPENDENT PROGRAM INSTITUTION IDS POSTED

We have posted a spreadsheet containing the updated list of valid
Institution IDs (ODE assigned unique numeric identifiers) for Independent
Programs.  These are privately run programs, not run by a district or ESD,
that serve students from more than one district.  In the past, these
programs were issued multiple Institution IDs to facilitate reporting
student membership, enrollment and attendance for multiple districts via the
ODE Web Survey and SMF systems.  Each Independent Program now has one
Institution ID that is to be used by all districts reporting for students
attending these programs on the Quarterly ADM (Average Daily Membership) or
Alternative Programs ADM web surveys or via the corresponding SMF files.

the ODE District Website Data Collection Committee web page to view or
download the Excel spreadsheet containing the updated list of Independent
Program Institution IDs.  The first tab of the spreadsheet contains a list
of the previously used duplicate Institution IDs for each Independent
Program with the one valid Institution ID highlighted in yellow, the second
tab lists the duplicate IDs that relate to the one valid ID, and the third
tab is the master list of valid Independent Program IDs.  If your district
has students attending an Independent Program that is not listed on this
spreadsheet and the corresponding drop down list on the Independent Programs
Association Web Survey, please contact the ODE Helpdesk to request that the
program be added to the list.

Remember that due to technical difficulties with the ODE Web Survey and SMF
systems, we have extended the due date for the first Quarter ADM report and
the Independent Programs Association Web Survey until November 15, 2003.
