As you know the annual ACPE conference is targeted at Technology Directors and their key staff. This year's conference, ACPE 2010 "Dare to Share IT", will give us the opportunity to discuss best practices around leveraging current and emerging technologies to connect students, staff, and all stakeholders with the information they need to make decisions. The Board has put together an exciting Conference schedule this year and we are fortunate to have nationally renowned speakers Howard Charney, Senior Vice-President of Cisco and David Warlick to will share their insights about technology, education, and a connected society. The pre-conference and regular sessions are both timely and relevant to the K-12 technology professional.
The increasing demands being placed on IT departments makes ACPE 2010 one of the best, if not the best, professional development opportunities available. The current economic environment makes ACPE 2010 the most cost-effective solution for providing you and your staff with the opportunity to connect with other technology professionals and our vendor sponsors in a collegial and productive environment not found at other conferences.

I look forward to seeing you and your staff at ACPE 2010 "Dare to Share IT" May 5-7, 2010. Remember registration begins Monday February 1, 2010. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us at: acpeconf at acpenw.org<mailto:acpeconf at acpenw.org>

ACPE Yours,
Jim Harrington
President-ACPE
