To IT Managers,
The Oregon Student Information System contract negotiations with Edupoint are continuing through January, and we will advise the OSIS Consortium members as soon as pricing and other information is available.
The OSIS Steering Committee has arranged for additional opportunities for your instructional and school representatives to learn about the specialized modules within Edupoint's Synergy product suite.  The Gradebook and Special Education modules were requested as part of the Oregon SIS Consortium RFP, while the LessonVue product is an optional curriculum management tool that may also be available for purchase once the contract has been finalized.  There are two opportunities to view each module, as follows.
LessonVue Web Demonstrations:
*         February 1,  from 1 - 2 pm
*         February 8,  from 4 - 5 pm

Special Education Module Presentations:
It is important for you and your Special Education Directors to attend one of these sessions if you are planning on implementing the Edupoint Sped Module during the 2012-13 school year.
*         Tuesday, February 7th in Salem
o   9 am to noon - Overview focused towards Special Education Directors and Staff
-          Genesea Overview: Portfolio, Navigation, TeacherVue, Timeline, Translation Tool, Reports/Query
o   1 pm to 4 pm - Session focused towards Technical Staff
-          Technical session - Process Setup, Autopopulate, Document Definition, Lookup Tables, Security

*         Thursday, February 9th in Bend
o   9 am to noon - Overview focused towards Special Education Directors and Staff
