ODFW and DSL draft rules specific to their respective jurisdictions are currently available for public review and comment. The fishing prohibitions are being scheduled to take effect after baseline data are collected, for each site. ODFW's public comment period extends up to the Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting on Friday, August 3, 2012. DSL's public comment period extends to 5 PM, Friday, July 27, 2012. Four joint hearings/public meetings are being held by ODFW and DSL on the coast on June 19, 20, 25 and 26.
