Hello Marine Reserves Listserv Subscribers:

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) and Department of
State Lands (DSL) are proposing rules for adoption for the Cape
Perpetua, Cascade Head and Cape Falcon sites as directed by Senate Bill
1510. ODFW and DSL draft rules specific to their respective
jurisdictions are currently available for public review and comment. The
fishing prohibitions are being scheduled to take effect after baseline
data are collected, for each site.

ODFW's public comment period extends up to the Fish and Wildlife
Commission meeting on Friday, August 3, 2012. DSL's public comment
period extends to 5 PM, Friday, July 27, 2012. Four joint
hearings/public meetings are being held by ODFW and DSL on the coast on
June 19, 20, 25 and 26.
