Event: Demystifying Coastal Hypoxia & Ocean Acidification Location: Tillamook Bay Community College. Room 214/215, 4301 3rd St, Tillamook, OR 97141 Date & Time: Tuesday, October 23, 6:30-8:30 pm More details: What are the phenomena of ocean acidification and coastal hypoxia? What is causing them? What are their likely impacts on marine species and coastal communities, and what can be done to minimize these impacts? Learn the answers to these questions, and about the cutting-edge research being conducted through presentations by scientists from Oregon State University, management agencies, and industry. Following the presentations, a panel of experts will answer your questions, and will discuss what individuals, communities, and government agencies can do to reduce and manage impacts. This event is being hosted by the Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans (PISCO) at Oregon State University through funding awarded by Oregon Sea Grant.
