> The Oregon Department of Transportation is revising its storm-water water quality guidance.  This guidance is mandatory for ODOT Tech Centers, Consultants and others to use for design of ODOT projects.

> Technical Bulletin GE09-02 (B) has been developed to outline ODOT> '> s water quality design strategy, summary of recommended treatment approaches, definition of the water quality design storm, and flow control requirements for the protection of channel processes.  It also highlights preparation and submittal guidance for operation/maintenance manuals and storm-water management plans.  
> 
> Several attachments to the technical bulletin provide detailed design criteria for each permanent water quality treatment approach recommended for ODOT projects.  Included are step-by-step procedures to aid the designer in understanding the analysis process, detailed criteria for facility components such as pretreatment, inlet structures, piping conveyance, outlet control structures, and outfalls, and detailed criteria for preparing operation and maintenance manuals.
