RIGHT OF WAY ISSUES FOR LOCAL AGENCIES AND CONSULTANTS
 
It's the luck of the Irish that FHWA and two ODOT R/W experts have
agreed to deliver a workshop on Right-of-Way issues relating to project
delivery. The audience is local agencies, ODOT staff and consultant
firms who do project development and delivery for both. This information
is definitely timely in light of the increasing interest in construction
projects prompted by state and federal infrastructure stimulus packages.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this training is to improve the knowledge base of local
agencies and consultants regarding right of way acquisition process and
laws.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The participant will be able to: 

*	Explain roles and responsibilities in the right of way
acquisition process, and 
*	Recognize process timelines and important milestones.
