2009 ACEC/ODOT Conference
  THE FUTURE OF TRANSPORTATION:  COSTS, INNOVATIONS AND SUSTAINABLE
SYSTEMS 

 

This year, ODOT and the American Council of Engineering Companies -
Oregon (ACEC) are co-hosting their annual conference on April 21st .
This conference is for technical and project delivery staff from both
private consulting firms and ODOT.  The conference is located at the
Holiday Inn - Wilsonville Conference Center.

 

Speakers at the conference will include the ACEC/ODOT Steering Committee
Co-Chairs, Cathy Nelson and Troy Bowers, along with ODOT Director Matt
Garrett and Deputy Director for Highway Doug Tindall.  The keynote,
"Bridging the Gap Between Needs and Funding," will be delivered by Gail
Achterman, Oregon Transportation Commission Chairperson.  Peter DeFazio
will deliver via video a message on the National Congressional
Perspective. Conference workshops provide information and tools that can
be used to improve the efficiency of project delivery and how we do
business together .
