It covers projects through September 2008, not 2009...BJ Below is a link to the PDF version of the full Bridge Cost Data 2008 book. The data includes layout sheets and project bid summaries for all bridge and structure projects from October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008 with a few exceptions listed below. This year we included only projects that were let under the 2002 Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction. So, we inlcuded the following projects that were let after October 2008: C13946, 223rd Undercrossing, Sandy Blvd. - Bridge Street, Bridge #20321, Multnomah County, let 10/9/2008, listed under Miscellaneous. Also included in under the same contract are 3 retaining walls, Bridge #20322, 20323, 20324. C13958, N Fork Owyhee River (Fenwick Ranch Road), Bridge #20769, steel girders, County bridge, let 11/13/2008. This one will be included in the Federal 2009 Deck Unit Cost Report. C13959, Retaining Wall, Cast-in-place Concrete, let 11/13/2008. C13967, Morrison Bridge Ped/Bike Access Project, Bridge #02758, 02758A, 02758B, 08589Y, adding multi-use-facility, rail retrofit, and bridge repairs, let 12/11/2008, listed under Miscellaneous. In addition we excluded the followin project that was let in FFY 2008 because it was let under the 2008 Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction: C13944, with 3 Soldier Pile Retaining Walls, Bridge #20932, 20931 and 20930. Next years cost data book will inlcude this project. . The full Cost Data Book contains the following: We have included typical bridge bid items, wall unit prices, sign structure unit prices, and design-build price at the proposal stage. Format and data are similar to last year. Project Control System (PCS) key numbers can be found on the Index pages. Bid item costs for the last three years and weighted average unit costs are included, with the exception of deck area unit cost excluding Spencer Creek Bridge (#20198) MLK Bridge (#19667), and Old Winchester Bridge (#00839). The pay schedule for Design-Build (DB) projects are based on values from the proposal stage. The deck area unit costs for DB are based on substructure, superstructure, and detour costs divided by deck area.
