Ticket Takers - Construction Manual, Chapter 12D - Quantities - May 2010 Update

Attached is the May, 2010 update to the ODOT Construction Manual,
Chapter 12D - Quantities. At the request of FHWA, major revisions were
made to this chapter, specifically Section 12D-2(n)(4) - Reciept of
Material on the Project. The process for validating reciept of materials
on the project site, and the use of a Materials Receiver
("ticket-taker") has been clarified with input from the ODOT Project
Managers and FHWA.
Please begin using the process defined in this version of Chapter 12D
for validating materials received on the project site immediately.
Chapter 12D and all attachments will need to be replaced in their
entirety with the attached version. This document will be posted on the
ODOT Construction Section website at:
http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/HWY/CONSTRUCTION/CM.shtml 
Please share this information with any Consultants, Local Agencies or
others you may know who are responsible for administering ODOT
construction contracts.
