TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: Estimator Basic Training and Fuel Escalation Worksheet

training opportunity:

On July 21st, ODOT has scheduled a session of "Estimator Basic Training"
in the morning and a session of "Fuel Escalation Worksheet" in the
afternoon.  Location for this training is ODOT's Technical Leadership
Center in Salem, Oregon.  There are limited seats left in these training
classes.

The purpose of "Estimator Basic Training" is to give new users the basic
skills to use this estimation system in the preparation of detailed
estimates.  The purpose of the "Fuel Escalation Worksheet" training is
to train and certify specification writers and designers in the use of
the new spreadsheets for identifying bid items qualified for diesel fuel
escalation.  You must attend the "Estimator Basic Training" before you
can attend "Fuel Escalation Worksheet."

PLEASE NOTE:  In order to be enrolled in this free training, your
company must have a current, on going contract for a federally funded
highway project with either ODOT or a local agency doing work for ODOT.
