August ACEC/ODOT Region 2 Brown Bag Session: Work Zone Traffic Control

All ODOT and ACEC project delivery staff,

On behalf of ODOT Region 2 and our ACEC partners, we welcome your
attendance at the ACEC/ODOT R2 Brown Bag Lunch Session from noon until
1:00PM on Wednesday, August 10th.
Scott McCanna and Eric Leaming of ODOT's Technical Services Traffic
Control Plans Unit emphasize work zone traffic safety by reporting on
the 2010 Statewide Work Zone Tour, provide preliminary findings of the
2011 Statewide Work Zone Tour and present changes to the soon-to-be
published update of the Oregon Temporary Traffic Control Handbook
(OTTCH). Come join this session to understand more about work zone
safety issues, how work zones can be made safer during project
development and see  some of the real-world challenges encountered on
construction projects throughout the State.
