TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: RIVER ENGINEERING FOR HIGHWAY ENCROACHMENTS

ODOT is sponsoring "River Engineering for Highway Encroachments."  The course provides training in the theory and application of alluvial channel flow, fluvial geomorphology, sediment transport, and river mechanics to the planning, location, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of highways.

The event is scheduled for October 2-4, 2012.  Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.  Location for this training is ODOT's Technical Leadership Center in Salem, Oregon.
