TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: ROADSIDE SAFETY DESIGN

ODOT has scheduled a "Roadside Safety Design" class For June 4th through 6th.  This course teaches highway design concepts relative to clear zone guidelines, guard rail and shoulder barrier designs, and guidelines for replacement of obstructions within the clear zone such as signal poles, sign posts, and end treatments for pipes.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.  Location for the training is Salem, Oregon.
