Oregon's unique statewide land use planning program originated in 1973 as Senate Bill 100. Under the land use program, all cities and counties in Oregon have adopted comprehensive plans that meet mandatory state standards--known as Statewide Planning Goals, of which there are 19. In this training you will learn how Oregon's land use program interacts with and informs ODOT Transportation Planning and Project Development--relating specifically to NEPA processes and documentation. This training is well-suited for Planners, Environmental Coordinators, Project Leaders, Local Agency Liaisons, Area Managers, Local Governments, and Consultants--anyone who is regularly involved in Oregon transportation planning and NEPA processes. The registration fee for the training is $35 which includes morning, lunch, and afternoon food and beverages. If you have any special dietary needs, please contact Susan White at 503-986-3519.
