TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: Erosion and Sediment Control Training - Fundamentals and Manager Certification

ODOT has scheduled an Erosion and Sediment Control Fundamentals training on November 20th and the Erosion and Sediment Control Manager Certification Training on November 21st.  Both classes are located in Salem.  Class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for each class.
Oregon Standard Specifications Section 280 requires contractors to provide an Erosion and Sediment Control Manager (ESCM) on a project.  In order to meet these requirements, ODOT is providing "Erosion and Sediment Control Manager Certification (ESCM) Training."  This currently is an interim certification good for 2 years.  For people who have had no previous erosion control training, it is strongly recommended that they also enroll in ODOT Erosion and Sediment Control Fundamentals training.
