REMINDER - 2015 ACEC/ODOT Partnering Conference - Transportation and Beyond

This is just a reminder that the 2015 American Council of Engineering Companies - Oregon (ACEC) and ODOT partnering conference is coming up on April 28th.  The conference is at the Salem Convention Center.
This year's conference - Transportation and Beyond - looks at trends in transportation that will affect how transportation projects are designed and developed in the future.  The future of transportation has many facets;  funding, technology, partnership and preparedness to name a few.
The keynote this year is Steve Power Brown, and Intel Futurist.  Steve is regularly featured in the media including interviews and appearances with BBC News, WSJ:Digits, Bloomberg TV, CNN, Fast Company, NBC News, The Guardian, Wired, Engadget, Slate, Huffington Post, CBS Marketplace, and more.
Su Midghall, President of DHM Research, will also be speaking on Oregon's values and beliefs about transportation.  DHM Research is often a source for Northwest policy and political perspective for local and national media, including for Oregon Public Broadcasting, The Economist, Washington Post, The Oregonian, and Portland Tribune.
Workshops on the following areas are scheduled for this year:  Technology Updates, ACEC/ODOT Doing Business, Seismic Preparedness, Transportation Funding and DBE/OMSWEB.
