ODOT is sponsoring National Highway Institute's (NHI) "Applying Section 4(f): Putting Policy into Practice."  " explains the history, purpose, and application of Section 4(f) within the context of the transportation project development process.
Audience for this training is State Departments of Transportation FHWA Headquarters and Field staff, including Federal Lands Consultants Officials with jurisdiction of affected Section 4(f) resources, e.g. State Historic Preservation Offices, Tribal Historic Preservation Offices, parks.
The date of this training is scheduled for April 26th-27th.  Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Location if ODOT's Region 1 Headquarters in Portland.
