The course cost is $450. This training is designed for engineers, geologists, inspectors and blasters working on highway projects. The course will take students through a step by step process for designing and checking blast designs. Other topics covered by this class include blast vibrations and damage control, air blasts, inspections and specification development. The course is being taught by Dr. Calvin Konya, who wrote the FHWA training manual on the subject.
