The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)
announces the launch of Truancy Prevention-Empowering Students,
Schools, and Communities. 
Drawing on the expertise and resources of OJJDP and the U.S.
Department
of Education's Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, the Web site
offers
a range of truancy-related information to educators, law enforcement
agencies, court personnel, and the general public.

Building Blocks for a Healthy Future/ is a website targeting children
ages 3 to 6 and their parents and caregiver. The For Grownups section
offers support for parents and caregivers of children ages 3 to 6. It
has tips and support in the following six areas: Good talking, good
listening; Time with your kids; Living with rules; Walk the walk (be a
positive role model); Kids with kids (teach your child to choose
friends
wisely); Show and tell (monitor your child's activities). /Building
Blocks/ also has a section for children with games, songs and
activities
