National Association of Counties Survey on Methamphetamine:
The National Association of Counties released a survey on the
Methamphetamine Epidemic in America on its web site today. The survey
highlights growing problems for hospital emergency rooms dealing with an
increased number of meth. involved cases as well as challenges to the
treatment community. The top recommendation from the group in terms of
addressing the nation's meth. problem is to increase the federal
Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant.

OMHAS Strategies for Measuring Fidelity The Office of Mental Health and
Addiction Services (OMHAS) will work with community partners to ensure
that the adoption of evidence-based practices by the service delivery
system includes the use of methods to measure fidelity to the practices
or programs implemented. There are a number of strategies the office may
