Sheri,

The mayor of Enterprise cannot attend the whole Main Street Conference, but
I have been encouraging him to attend the key note address on Wednesday
afternoon.  Is this ok? Does he still need to register?

A Designing Projects for Successful Grants Workshops will be offered in
Salem and online. The Salem session will be August 8 from 10:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. at the North Mall Office Building 725 Summer St. NE, room 124B.
The online session will be August 9 from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m.
 
The workshop is free to all who are interested. It will cover how to plan
your project and write about it for a successful grant application. We will
emphasize the heritage and preservation related grants offered by Heritage
Programs of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, but the information can
be applied to any grant. Heritage Programs grants are offered for building
preservation, museum projects, heritage tourism, historic cemeteries and
more.
