All,

An interesting concept and something many of us could probably use a
little help with.  Wired Magazine October 2011.

How many DNA poles do you have in your community?  The struggle I have
found so far is the conflict between enforcement officials who want a
sign everywhere because they "can't enforce the law" without it. I am
not entirely sold on this.  See attached picture.  If we don't have that
sign does it mean they can't cite someone for drinking in public?  I
suggest not....

We (downtown revitalizations folks with my assistance) are pursuing a
decluttering initiative here in Biddeford, in order to:

-          Improve attractiveness

-          Creating a more welcoming environment

-          Reduce obstacles for public works

 

I guess this is another tool in the toolbox for my use.

 

Any thoughts or words of wisdom as we embark on this effort I would
appreciate hearing from you.
