[OMS_MANAGERS] Albany Downtown Association is seeking an Executive Director

I am sad to announce that Rod Porsche will be leaving the Albany Downtown Association. Rod has brought a lot of energy and passion for downtown revitalization to the ADA. He will be missed in the OMS Network. He has asked me to forward the announcement for the position - See below:

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. The Albany Downtown Association is seeking an Executive Director to coordinate downtown revitalization activities using the Main Street 4-Point Approach(r). Applicant should have proven ability to work with both public and private sector including members of the downtown community. Excellent organizational, communications, and writing skills required. Applicant must demonstrate competence through education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, economic development, small business management, volunteer and/or nonprofit management, public relations, planning, urban design, architecture, and historic preservation. Starting salary $40,000 plus medical allowance. Send resume, cover letter, and five references by November 11, 2013 to Albany Downtown Association, 126 Ferry St. SW, Albany, Oregon  97321.
