Hi All,

While Sheri is away I wanted to remind you to take a look at the Action Item worksheet she handed out at the meeting and provide feedback/ideas/topics for the upcoming Conference in Oregon City, the Summer Network Meeting, Fall Mobile workshop (this sounds like so much fun!) and any webinar ideas. I have attached the worksheet which you can fill out and send back if you already have not done it, but you can always just send myself or Sheri an email with your thoughts on the following:

2017 Conference Theme: Refresh, Revitalize, Reinvigorate Your Downtown Efforts

  *   Please provide feedback on topics you would like to see or panels you are willing to present

Summer Network Meeting:

  *   This will be our traditional 1 to 5 p.m. around the state updates on July 13 followed by a ½ day training on July 14. Rooms are set aside at the Oxford Suites, promo code MAINST to receive special conference rates.

Webinar Ideas:

  *   We are starting to work on short 15 to 30 minute webinars. Let us know what topics you would like us to cover.

Fall 2018 Mobile OMS Workshop

  *   This is an idea we have been discussing for a while. We would like to rent a bus or two and tour over a 3 day period a number of towns to talk to boards and tour downtowns. Let me know if you would like this to be in Washington or Oregon.


Think about things your organization and your committees might be struggling with and some additional training or information that might help you with those challenges. We want the conference and workshops to have relevant guidance for you and the work you and your organizations do.
