SUBJECT:  	OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:		DUTY OFFICER
		OREGON EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

FROM:		ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

NOTE:  The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the Lane
Regional Air Protection Agency (LRAPA) has issued an air pollution
advisory for the Willamette Valley and SW Washington. 

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not
recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is not allowed.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific
information.
