[Willamette Valley Open Burning Announcement]

SUBJECT:   OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM:  ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Tuesday, February 3d, 2009

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended north of Salem.
  Salem southward agricultural burning is allowed.  Recommended burn times are 11:00am to 3:30pm.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
