****Special Note:  The Smoke Management Forecast Office will be closed Sunday, May 10th due to illness.  Thus necessitating a forecast for Monday, May 11th.****


SUBJECT:        OPEN BURNING ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM:           ODF METEOROLOGIST

Burning advisory for: Monday, May 11th, 2009

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is allowed.
  Suggested burn times are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
