Elizabeth:

There are times when you must use HTML; even to a mail list.

Go to your address book, look up or-roots, right click, click properties,
check send plain text. This can be overridden later.

Subject: [or-roots] Question about the or-roots mailing list

If I remember correctly, there was some discussion a few months ago about HTML showing up when people opened their e-mail from the list. I have had that problem ever since I joined. I am not sophisticated enough to change any settings in Outlook, and my browser is Microsoft's. This is also the only mail list (and I'm on several) with which I have this problem. It's more of an annoyance, really, than a problem, but why does it happen? Is there anything I can do about it?

  Thanks,
  Elizabeth in Eagle Point
