[or-roots] Umatilla County

I am planning a trip to Umatilla County, to search for family information. 
I will be in Pendleton, Nolin and Echo for sure, but was wondering if any 
of you have any suggestions for "must see" in the area.

My primary family lines are Robinson McClellan and Richard Parks Wallace. 
Other lines include Parrott, DuPuis, Dozier, Webb and Donalson. The 
McClellans were in Kentucky in the 1870s, and probably got to Oregon in the 
early 1880s. The Wallaces came soon after 1883.

I am particularly interested in seeing the land the families farmed, and 
farms that date from that time, to get an idea of the kind of life they 
lived. So if you know of any sites or museums, etc., that I should visit, I 
would be grateful for your ideas.
